In the past when all games installed to windowsapps games that were modable you could enable mods by going to Xbox app > then go to the game details page > Press the More actions button. Not sure if slay the spire is one of those. However unfortunately some games are not compatible with the advanced installation feature and will still install to ProgramFiles/WindowsApps. This will give you access to limited modding capability as you can access this folder. If you have not enabled this I would recommend you go to the xbox app settings and set a custom install folder. Most games now are compatible with the advanced installation feature, meaning you can install them to a customer folder like c:/xboxgames.
